Here is a really cute clip of Cee Cee ( tiny Chihuahua ) riding Dosser a giant tortoise.  Gary and some of his animals made an appearance on urban rush this week. Gary Oliver, owner of Cinemazoo said one day they were both on the ground and Cee Cee jumped on Dosser's back and seemed to love it. Any chance Cee Cee gets to ride Dosser she is on top of him.

We spent the day at Cinemazoo today. We will have some new videos in a few days. Ferrets, snakes, a bearded lizard that wanted to eat me. The alligator that was not too happy to have us poking around his living quarters. A few rattlers that were mighty pissed we were disturbing their  nap time. A few really cute ones of me with a gaggle of ferrets running all over me & playing in my hair!

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be re doing Gary's website. A fresh new grabby new look with tons of interactive features that will keep everyone coming back for more Cinemazoo news.
We are going to install a high rez. web cam so we can see what the critters really do when no one is watching in the middle of the night. In the meantime, if you want to sign up to be on Cinemazoo's email list contact Gary Directly Gary Oliver Cinemazoo
Once we start the new web build we will have an enter your email on the home page. We would like to start collecting as many new emails so  when we go live with all the new upgrades, features and camera action we can keep our community super informed and interactive! Over the next few days I will have times of TV airing for Gary Oliver. There is also a production company from Kansas coming in a few days to do a documentary on Gary and Cinemazoo!

Donations are coming in, people are upset, people are offering any help that is needed  & people asking ``what else can we do` It has been one wild ride to say the least for the animals both exotic and domesticated at CinemaZoo.

I had to convince Gary to get on the media trail when he broke the news to me earlier this week. It took a bit of arm wrestling for me to get him to agree to get as much media coverage as possible and it's helping and we thank you so much for the incredible response so far. Subject: Our Pet Squirrel Dinky 2005
(Posted on Dec 27, 2009 at 01:29PM)

Tags: squirrel, pet, pets, pets as squirrels, furry creatures
Here is a photo I dug up of our pet squirrel Dinky. She was so tame and so calm she would sit in our laps to eat her peanuts and chocolate.
Aside from her ferocious appetite for shelled peanuts, her second passion was chocolate. Dinky lived in the wild, but came for her feedings a few times a day. often times she would rush up to my desk sit in front of me until I got her treats. She loved my husband and would look at him with full love in her eyes.
I have so many hilarious stories about her. One in particular stays with me. It was in 2007 summer day. I was 2 blocks away from where I live and out of the hedge out popped Dinky. She looked at me ( she would recognize both of us blocks away ) she followed me home like a house dog. There was a guy walking right behind me and he could not believe what he was witnessing. He did not believe that she recognized me so far away from where I lived, he was laughing his head off.
We had her for over 3 years. The last year of her life we noticed her hind end was dragging a bit and she was looking a bit haggard. The last time we saw her was in 2008 in the summer.
It's kind of weird because the area we live in is usually polluted with squirrels, after Dinky
disappeared we have maybe one or 2 squirrels running around.

More About Chester and Jake
Chester and Jake are a very bonded cat/dog pair that we would not like
to separate. Jake is a 10 yr old mix. Chester is a 10 year old DSH cat.
The two lost their home when their owners were forclosed upon. They are
a good pair, the only issue is working on the housebreaking, as Jake
sometimes lifts his leg and then Chester feels the need to pee on top
of it.

Subject: Chelsea needs Adopting too cute 4 words take a look
(Posted on Oct 12, 2009 at 04:04PM)
Meet Chelsea. Chelsea is so great we have not one but TWO videos for
her. One is on Viddler.com right below. The other is on You Tube.

The Viddler video tells her story, and the You Tube video was shot on July 3 in the morning.

She is so gentle and loves our new foster dog as you will see in the video of them on the bed.

Chelsea is named after the British Soccer Team. And she is pure royalty. We love her.
See why by watching this video:

HOW TO ADOPT OR MEET CHELSEA:
If
you would like to meet Chelsea, we really need you to fill out an
application FIRST. You can easily fill one out online at
www.mollysmuttsandmeows.org. Click here to go to the application page. Once
you fill it out, hit submit. Be as complete as you can and don't be
shy! We like to know a lot about the homes for our critters. We'll
respond within 24 hours. (We are all volunteers and work full-time, so
be patient with us. We will respond, I promise!)

Oh yea, we also have old-fashioned PDF copies of the application.  If
you fax it in, be sure to write 'Chelsea' at the top. You may want to
call us to double-check that we received it. Our phone number is
310-837-MUTT.

The founder of Molly's Mutts & Meows wrote
this description. She is fostering Chelsea with her husband and LOTS of
dogs and cats--and many visiting children.

Chelsea is a gem.
She is an adult blue-nosed American Pit Bull that was pulled from the
Pasadena Humane Society shelter. She was found on Christmas Eve. A dog
turned into the shelter on Christmas Eve is really sad.

We think
she was a breeding dog. She was in heat shortly after her impound at
PHS. She is most likely a purebred and blue/blue-nosed pit bulls (with
the white chest/belly), which are popular (in terms of the 'look' of a
pit bull). Chelsea is a stunner.

She is also so very sweet. She
is GREAT around all of our dogs. Chelsea is FANTASTIC around kids,
people, babies, etc. So far, she has been very respectful of our cats.
She has been curious about them, so we watch her. However, you really
should never leave a pit bull or power-breed dog (likte a Rottie,
Doberman, etc) unsupervised around your cats (unless they grew up
together as puppies and kiittens).

Chelsea is as sweet as pie.
Her main goal in life is to be with her people. Her ideal human
companions would take her on a few walks a day and perhaps have another
dog to keep her company. (We would work with you on properly
introducing Chelsea to your dog.) She can be a bit of a brat on the
leash. However, she's lovely in the dog park!  If you worked from home,
she would totally dig that. She would sleep by your feet as you worked.
If you are into soccer, she would love to snuggle up next to you on the
sofa and watch a match or two.

As the founder of MM&M, I
know my foster dogs should sleep at night in their crates.  Chelsea is
crate-trained, but I must be honest.  My husband and I have let her
move into the bedroom and sleep with us. She is a very polite
sleeper. She snuggles up in a little ball right next to your legs and
does not move all night. But once the alarm goes off, she immediately
comes up and lies on me and starts molesting my face with kisses!  It
is quite endearing.

We are very smitten with Chelsea. If you
think you can offer her a forever home with as much love and adoration
as she deserves, please fill out that application at
www.mollysmuttsandmeows.org

Thank you for making adoption your first option for dogs like Chelsea.

Subject: New Reality Three Rivers, great futuristic...
(Posted on Oct 5, 2009 at 05:20PM)
Story below, grabbed from sites " about" page
THREE RIVERS is a medical drama starring Alex O'Loughlin ("Moonlight," upcoming CBS Films "The Back-Up Plan") that goes inside the emotionally complex lives of organ donors, the recipients and the surgeons at the preeminent transplant hospital in the country, where every moment counts. However, dealing with donor families in their darkest hour and managing the fears and concerns of apprehensive recipients takes much more than just a sharp scalpel. Leading the elite team is Dr. Andy Yablonski, the highly-skilled workaholic lead organ transplant surgeon, whose good-natured personality and sarcastic wit makes him popular with his patients and colleagues. His co-workers include Dr. Miranda Foster, a surgical fellow with a rebellious streak and fiery temper who strives to live up to her deceased father's excellent surgical reputation; Dr. David Lee, a womanizing surgical resident who's broken as many hearts as he's replaced; Ryan Abbott, the inexperienced new transplant coordinator who arranges the intricately choreographed process of quickly and carefully transporting organs from donor to patient; Dr. Sophia Jordon, the dedicated head of surgery who has no patience for anyone who hasn't sacrificed as much as she has for the job; and Pam Acosta, Andy's no-nonsense operating assistant and best friend. In this high stakes arena, in which every case is a race against the clock, these tenacious surgeons and medical professionals are the last hope for their patients.

Subject: flat belly diet, apparently really works check this out...
(Posted on Oct 5, 2009 at 04:40PM)
Flat Belly Diet doesn't sound like " just another diet fad"
Here is the Sassy water recipe that is used for the diet.

1 TSP/ GRATED GINGER
1 MED. CUCUMBER
1 MEDIUM LEMON
12 SPEARMINT LEAVES

COMBINE EVERYTHING AND LET IT STAND IN FRIDGE OVERNIGHT. DRINK ALL WATER THROUGHOUT THE NEXT DAY.

The food/s that are used for this diet particular diet are a list of ALL of my favorite things to eat -- I am going to give it a try. The water recipe ( above ) are all ingredients I really like too, so should be a nice change venue for a while. We all know no one ever stays on one particular regime for LIFE, but it's nice to step things up and eat differently for a period of time. I am trying to cut out all meat from my diet too.

(Posted on Oct 5, 2009 at 04:20PM)
I love his story. I saw his youtube video a few years ago. I did not really know much about him, or his life until today's Oprah airing.
He was homeless and would sing in the streets for money to survive. Arnel's voice is a complete carbon copy of Steve Perry's vocal range, unbelievable -- his story of struggle to success is more than just a "little" awe inspiring. Everyone should have, or be watching Oprah today, some really inspiring gritty stories about the glorious "ride to success"

Subject: QR Codes catching on in NA
(Posted on Aug 3, 2009 at 01:13PM)

Tags: QR Codes in Canada
In my ongoing dialogue on social media intertwined with tech trends, there is one technology that is undergoing improvements aimed at making the lives of mobile users and images easier. Some say these new technologies are spelling the demise of the URL or domain name. I say it’s another tool in your arsenal to promote your brand while being innovative.

Read on and you be the judge.

One cool technology that’s been around for a number of years in Japan is called QR Image Recognition or QR codes are another emerging technology that should be interesting to watch.
( image QR Code )

Using a QR code, a mobile phone user could snap a pic, attach the code to the pic. The actual code looks like a futuristic bar code. When another user receives the pic, their phone’s QR code reader goes to a web site that was preprogrammed into the code.

In the case of a contest, straight to the microsite where the contest ‘lives’. The upshot is no typing in a URL or domain name. Print material becomes interactive as well with the use of QR codes and readers.

With this "NEW" technology your branded URL will not appear. Your Brand could create more of a buzz by adding an element of "surprise" to your campaigns. You could include a message & the QR code, instead of telling your customer base exactly what the product is. As a restaurateur one of your beer distributors may want to put a shelf ad that announces ( on your menu ) with the text read  "Granville Island Honey Lager comes with a price"  -- Half price after 5 PM -- the QR code would take people to the ( beer distributors ) website with that mentions which restaurants & shops this offer is in effect -

Some marketers are advocating that the QR code will not catch on because here in North America – mobile users are used to SMS and you can easily send a text message to a mobile user with a short URL to accomplish the same message. The argument is the install base is larger therefore more readily available.

My rely would be that times are changing – so are mobile users and networks. There are more and more mobile users emerging with smart phones like Blackberry and the iPhone. Using these devices platforms you experience the entire Internet on a small screen. QR Codes would be so easy – especially to people like me still trying to get used the iPhone keyboard!

Here’s where the QR code came from:

QR Image Recognition is a ( two dimensional ) bar code. The QR Code was developed by a Japanese corporation back in 1994. QR, short for "Quick Response", was created to allow it's contents to be decoded at super high speed.  Most Japanese mobile phones can read this code with their camera's. QR codes are used in a lot of different advertising situations.

You see that there is no URL anywhere on this image. QR codes allow you to use your mobile phone  ( your mobile phone must have a camera & web access ) to snap a photo of the code ( called tagging ) and instantly you will be directed to the right web address. This eliminates the need of typing ( correctly, or incorrectly ) Currently, in the US most cell phones do not come with the necessary software ( camera & web access ) click here to install software QR Code  You can also download the software application from your iPhone store ( online )

There is "NEW" technology currently being developed that will allow you to snap an image of your product & logo. Immediately this will be sent to a web address, working the same as QR code, but allowing you ( as a marketer ) to print out your  product image & logo, rather than an ugly QR code ( QR code would be replaced with your product image & logo )

With this "NEW" technology your branded URL will not appear. Your Brand could create more of a buzz by adding an element of "surprise" to your campaigns. You could include a message & the QR code, instead of telling your customer base exactly what the product is. As a restauranter one of your beer distributors may want to put a shelf ad that announces ( on your menu ) with the text read  "Granville Island Honey Lager comes with a price"  -- Half price after 5 PM -- the QR code would take people to the ( beer distributors ) website with that mentions which restaurants & shops this offer is in effect -

Subject: Disrespecting your Customer Base...
(Posted on Jul 22, 2009 at 07:18PM)
Recently, I got a phone call from a local, Vancouver, B.C. fashion designer's staff member wanting to know if they had my most current email on file and inviting me to one of their local public fashion shows.

This designer had a fashion show a few years ago that I attended. We'd just moved back
from Miami to Vancouver and were quite active in the online fashion scene.

I had been introduced to this designer many years prior & thought it would appropriate to say hello when the show was over. I caught up with her when the crowds started to die down gushing about how wonderful her collection was & introduced my husband to her.

I was a bit taken aback at her reaction to me. She acted like a complete snob not thanking me for my any compliments & acting as if she was the Grande Dame of the fashion world.

I was so completely turned off by her haughty & laissez faire attitude I simply turned round and walked away.

Prior to this fashion show I had been on her website & signed up to their email list, I had completely forgotten that I did this but certainly vividly remember my negative experience as if it were yesterday.

As an active blogger and developer of social media marketing platforms, I thought this would be a great time to talk to my own readers about ‘Real Time’ branding and the power of 'negative press'.

Because I was ‘snubbed’ as you might say it, I am compelled to share my experience. Since we develop Internet Broadcasting technology - at the touch of a button this blog is sent to all my social networking spots, Facebook, Linkedin, Bedo, Twitter, etc.

In an instant, this negative real time branding message is going to be viewed by the 10’s of thousands of people that follow my blog posts. News feeds on my www.mimifrommiami.com site will light up to be spidered by search engines. Anyone carrying my widgets on their web site or blog will immediately receive this while those subscribed to my blog's RSS feeds will get updated. Email and SMS alerts will also get delivered to those of the readers choosing to be updated in that manner.

At the touch of one button, my company's technology platforms updates my readers with a real time branding message. Unfortunately it's negative one about an unnamed company.

Who knows, I might even get a message from one of the movie stars that commented  on my friend’s role in 'The Bachelorette' real time via her Twitter message during the commercial break earleir this week! Wondering who it is? - then delivering the messaging again to her list of over
500,000!

The point I am making is that in this world of ‘instant or real time branding’ if you aren’t careful who you deliver your message to and how you manage your contacts, the damage to your brand could be far and wide.

One way this fashion designer could do some damage control is to step up and address the issue. She could also have her staff manage their email and telephone call list so snubbed people don’t get contacted so they don't take the time to make a point of talking about the negative experience to the rest of the planet.

Technology makes things so much easier in the ever busy world. The fact  that we develop technology platforms for client companies that in an instant deliver their message to just about every social media site while attracting search rankings means I simply spend time creating a marketing message - then one button sends it.

I can focus on blog topics and my own company’s real time branding message. I can also, in real time, address any negative press that may be surfacing on my own brand in a positive manner.

You can’t always please everyone but having the tools to manage your real time branding message - good or bad is paramount in this new economy.

(Posted on Jun 30, 2009 at 04:36PM)
Our team just finished up Terra Centric Advenutres

Located in Lund British Columbia, Canada
Client requested a "very" simple CMS back end data system. It took the entire staff a very short time to learn & navigate. We hear from so many clients that their current back end user system is so hard to navigate & figure out, that most times they get lost & won't go in and make necessary changes to their website.
Our head programmer came up with a super dead easy back end admin door that allows clients to quickly & easily make any changes, upgrades, or uploads to their existing website without having to stress themselves out!
This also saves the client time & money, since they don't have to call upon us to go in & make changes every time they need changes made to their website.

Subject: New Online Social Awarness...
(Posted on Jun 28, 2009 at 06:07PM)
The NEW INTERNET, Self promotion & SEO strategies- WebStager

I'd like to discuss the growing popularity of BLOG technology & why it is so important to your own Internet Strategies.

Before I get into that, let's explore the dynamic shifts we've seen with the introduction of the Internet. It's only really been around for a little over 10 years - but, look at the shifts in traditional ways of thinking & doing business.

It dawned on me this week, as the entire planet seems to be mesmerized by the star power of the passing of legend known as Michael Jackson. We are all reflecting on how one person, in some way, touched our lives & so many mourning the loss of this great artist.

His star power, no doubt, as a result of his incredible talent - but, without the power of traditional media - he would NEVER have been able to have risen to these levels. Funny, that during the latter point of Michael Jackson's career, with so many accusations & scandals many of his, so called, supporters, backed away from him. Now, in his demise these same people are calling his praises. They too are hoping the light of fame shines in their direction as traditional media follows them as their stories unfold.

People including traditional media used to laugh and ridicule the Internet. Things are changing. Traditional media no longer has the "exclusive" capability of increasing someone's "Star power". The "New" power is "Internet  Power".
We are all just now realizing how important the Internet can be in increasing someone's "Social Value".

The Internet has the ability to create social awareness--no matter if it's a brand, a business, or a person. Each one has the power of the Internet if used to its full potential to enhance their social "value".

By investing in social media and the promotion of such online, you are investing in the long term of your social value. As with most new things, it's always good to be one of the first ones in.

The more places your information appears, the more you become an authority on a topic or subject- your social value climbs.

At WebStager we've invested years in developing tools & technologies to enhance social value. Our blogs help enhance your social value updating of social media properties by simultaneously updating several accounts while our "GPS" Galleries pin point images while linking them to your own location.

Anytime you enhance the ability to distribute your information that adds to your Social Value, is time well invested over the long term.

I bought, tried this product it did NOT work for me at surpressing my appetite.
The product claims the gloss contains hoodia.
100% Genuine Hoodia is NOT simple to obtain. There are lots of simulated creations on the market currently, liberated by "dishonest" vendors looking to construct rapid money on the support of Hoodia's remarkable accomplishments. Pure form Hoodia ( unadulterated ) is both uncommon and costly. It takes 5-7 years to grow up adequately to be effective as a hunger suppressant for individuals. As a result of this there are very strict stringent rules that have to be abidded by the South African regime on exportation of Hoodia. There is also a C.I.T.E.S diploma is essential for the "lawful" export of Hoodia Gordonni to different nations.
There are stringent rules obligatory by the South African regime on
export of Hoodia, and a C.I.T.E.S diploma is essential for the lawful
export of Hoodia Gordonii to different nations.

Pure 100% South African Hoodia is very costly, do not be "duped" by inexpensive creations assuring to do the remarkable, supress your appetite.

Subject: Whole Foods on Cambie BC Canada NEW Floral dept gets
(Posted on Jun 21, 2009 at 02:11PM)
Fresh floral Monday, Wed & Friday, mid afternoon. I usually always get different varities and colors of my favorite floral, Cali Lilies. It's really interesting the difference in " how long each color of Cali Lilies" last. When I get the black small variety of Cali Lily ( image below ) they will last up to a full month. The Orange variety, both large stemmed and small will not last as long. White single petal  Cali Lilies will also last a full month.

The girls that work in the Whole Foods on Cambie are really knowledgable about varities and go the extra mile to wrap and present your floral purchases, which impresses me. There isn't anything worse, to me, than S**** customer service!

My Rock Star Daughter, Amy
Brought over a 6 layer pure chocolate cake from Meinhardt's last night for her father. It was so decadent & fresh it was more than amazing & worth every single calorie.

Meinhardt's really out do any of the boutique places I shop for " sweet treats" their cupcakes & black cherry cake is worth spending an extra few hours at the gym!

Is bloody amazing right now -- I have embedded a link on Choosing perfect corn on the cobs. I usually just open up the top of the corn leave & squish the top kernels see how juicy the corn is. People in produce don't like it when I do this cause I usually squirt anyone standing next to me.

Brings back memories of sitting in front of the boob tube in the 70 s after school eating my face off ( cause I could ) I would sit there watch the Partridge family and down a whole loaf of pasty white bread slathered in salty butter. God, I wish I could get away with eating a whole loaf of wonder bread and a slab of butter on the side now. If I were to start this routine up I would have to live with my personal trainer and workout for hours a day, ha.

Subject: Best Meat retail Vancouver hands down & priced very reasonble is
(Posted on Jun 19, 2009 at 11:31AM)
Windsor Quality Meats - 4110 Main Street - 604-872-5635

I shop here 3 times a week. I buy the " organic" hormone free poultry and beef. It's way cheaper than other meat markets, hands down.

They have marinated beef and chicken kabobs at $2.50 per. They are probably the best, most flavorable kabobs I have ever had in this city.

Their frozen Venison sausages ( pork free ) are incredible. Their NY grass fed steaks are the best in the city. I can buy 2 " decent" sized pieces for under 20 bucks.
I marinate them in coffee grinds ( rub the grinds onto the meat ) I also use a BBQ sauce they sell that has scotch and coffee. I also ad a dose of fresh crushed garlic. Marinate them in a large ziploc bag for about 4 or 5 days ( refrigerate ) incredible!
I buy the organic ground beef & lamb and make hamburger patties. I have several " secret" hamburger patty ingredients I add to the meat.
I am not going to give that away yet because I have someone who might be interested in investing in some of these hamburger patty recipes.

One of the things I like about this market is the guys that work there are super friendly, easy on the eyes & if you are a regular they always throw something " extra" in it for you.

See you at Windsor Meat on Main & King Edward, several times a week.

This just in - Vancouver's Brent Hayden led Canada to a medal ceremony in Santa Clara, Calif. Hayden took a stunning victory over golden boy Michael Phelps.
Hayden took the 100 metre freestyle on Sunday at Santa Clara Grand Prix swim competition. Hayden led almost the entire race and tagged a meet record of 48.44 seconds. Hayden also took silver in the 200 metre freestyle on Friday and a bronze medal in the 50 freestyle on Sunday.
Just 2 years ago Phelps beat Hayden at the same pool. Hayden's coach Tom Johnson was immensily impressed.

New Dev Corp site by webstager  -- My UK artist and I pounded this out. We showed the client 18 logo designs & they settled on this one -- the site has a nice organic feel to it, while showing the immense nature of their business and who they serve. Pretty powerful I am really happy with the final outcome. We are going to add a high end flash show at the top header piece. The images we have from our trips up there are more than visually stunning.
Should go live with the whole site very soon.

They need help building a road - I grabbed this from their website.
check them out. The exotics they have been abused and neglected. These people deserve all the help they can get.

Public Opening Delayed by County

The County of San Bernardino will not allow visitors to Forever Wild's brand new public facility, built by the community.

We must pave the 1.5 mi public road before we can admit visitors, at a
cost of almost a million dollars. The entire surrounding area uses
gravel roads.
They are standard high desert roadways, well-maintained and surfaced.
Forever Wild's roadway was even substantially improved during the
Makeover.

With your tax dollars, the County is paying to post staffers
outside Forever Wild's property to prevent the community from entering
the facility they built.

Without public admissions, we can't meet the costs of feeding the
animals that San Bernardino County sends to us for care. We have enough
donations to support the animals for approximately two months.
