Over the course of the past 6 months Upstream Environmental Inc. has worked to complete lab testing of its patented bilge pump filtration unit. Over that period the product has been reconfigured in order to optimize the usage of recycled and re-manufactured tire fiber to successfully remove hydrocarbon contaminates from bilge water. Final field testing is now due to begin Jan 2010 and we anticipate going into full production by Feb 15 2010.

As Upstream Environmental Inc continues to define its marketing strategy and requirements the company has identified the need to create relationships with specific industry related partners. To that end the company recently had an opportunity to present our remediation technology to a major engineering firm in Vancouver, with an interest in improved environmental practices. The presentation was very successful and we anticipate the firm will recommend our solution their clients.

In an environmental first, Upstream Environmental has taken the first step to broadcasting real time environmental news to the entire planet. Last weel Google announced a change is the way the Internet works by rolling out their real time update technology. Web sites and news in the past would wait months for their real time news to be updated via the variuos search engines.
By utilizing the broadcast capabilities of ThemeGreen blogs - vital news related to environmental news is going to be immediately broadcast far and wide to Upstream Environmental's social networking and social media sites.
Now that Goggle is updating various search terms on a real time basis, environmental news will be quickly picked up by the search engines for all the planet to benefit. At the same time other technologies built into this powerful social media tool will email or send SMS text messages to interested parties - as well as update news feeds on our web site.
We are also excited about our blog's Knowledge Bank capabilities. As we create news and views about various environmental events our 'knowledge tags' will constantly create a library of useful and searchable content. Our widgets will allow access to our immediate updates on any blog or web site.

The Vancouver Trade And Convention center was alive with green processes back in September when Upstream Environmental demonstrated it's products targeted at clean water in BC's cities and towns. On display was Upstream's Bildge Buddy bildge pump filter. The product uses a material produced from recycled tires that removes any oil from water passing through it. Municipal governments all realized that their water systems could be saved from oil run off or from pleasure boaters in lakes or water ways.
